Thanksgiving is here to kick off the holiday season with family fun, food fetish and football. Before the festivities begin, our friends at Bustle asked if our statisticians can see how turkey day historically affects searches and traffic to Pornhub. As we’ve previously discovered, holidays like Christmas, Easter and even Halloween can have quite an effect on the type of porn people search for.
Women Searching for Women
When Pornhub Insights studied “What Women Want,” we found that ‘lesbian’ was their number one favorite search term. We looked further into “Women’s Searches Worldwide” and discovered that lesbian is the search term favored across most of North and South America, whereas other terms like ‘anal’ and ‘ebony’ topped women’s searches elsewhere. Our friends at Vice checked in to see if lesbian searches by women were a trend specific to North America. Read-on to find out!
UFC 205 New York – Traffic Shifts and Searches
On November 12, Conor McGregor became the first man to hold two Ultimate Fighting Championship belts at the same time after he beat Eddie Alvarez at Madison Square Garden. The fight was the first in New York City after the state legalized the sport. The fight lasted just two rounds.
Pornhub Traffic was down -6% in New York at the beginning of the 7pm Preliminary Show which aired on cable TV. After increasing back to normal levels around 9pm, it dropped again by -5% as the Pay Per View event started. The Main Fight took place shortly after 1am, after which traffic increased by 3% in New York and 2% in the United States.

Trump Family Searches Skyrocket Post Election
Once Donald Trump officially became President-Elect of the United States in the early hours of November 9th, 2016, we partnered with our friends over at Elite Daily to see what this meant for searches on Pornhub. As the day progressed, searches for “Donald Trump” increased +874% on Pornhub. Searches for other members of the soon-to-be “first family” skyrocketed as well. Current wife “Melania Trump” was searched +1538% more, daughters “Ivanka Trump” +1169% and “Tiffany Trump” +2548% more than their average levels. Together, they accounted for nearly 250,000 Pornhub searches on November 9th, and have remained higher than normal in the days that have followed.

November 15 Update
While search levels for most Trump family members returned to slightly above average, searches for Tiffany Trump continued to increase. Tiffany is now a trending search on Pornhub, up +9128% based on her previous averages.
It should be noted that Donald Trump still remains the most popular Trump by raw search volume, mostly due to the large number of porn parodies produced in his honor. Even with Tiffany’s +9128% growth, she still hasn’t managed to surpass her father’s popularity on Pornhub.
Askmen and Pornhub Ejaculation Survey
Pornhub recently teamed up with our friends over at AskMen to survey our male visitors about their ejaculations both with and without a partner. In all over 4000 men answered the call and shared their jizz details anonymously. We’ve compiled the most interesting data to cum out of this survey into the following info-graphic for your pleasure… and science!
